Dhaka, March 23, 2024 (BDRunner): On the occasion of the holy Eid-ul-Fitr, the advance sale of train tickets is starting tomorrow Sunday (March 24). Online ticket sales will start at eight o’clock in the morning.
On the occasion of the upcoming holy Eid-ul-Fitr, when and on which date tickets will be sold, Bangladesh Railway has informed.
Railway ministry sources said that advance tickets for April 3 will be given tomorrow March 24, April 4 tickets will be given on March 25, April 5 tickets will be given on March 26, April 6 tickets will be given on March 27, April 7 tickets will be given on March 28, and April 7 tickets will be given on March 29. Advance tickets for April 8 and March 30 tickets for April 9 will be given.
On March 13, a press conference organized with advance train tickets was informed that eight pairs of special trains will be run this Eid. On Eid, advance tickets for all intercity trains running in the western region will be available online in the morning and tickets for trains running in the eastern region will be available online from 2 pm.
33 thousand 500 advance tickets for intercity trains will be sold daily. This time also 100% of tickets will be sold online. Standing tickets equal to one-fourth of the total seats will be sold in non-AC rooms. The sale of return train tickets will start on April 3. Tickets for April 13 will be available on that day. Ministry sources said that the tickets will be sold through Bangladesh Railway’s website (https://eticket.railwaz.gov.bd/) and mobile app.
