PABNA, Sept 06: Tamal son of former land minister Shamsur Rahman Dilu was arrested with a firearm from the Alobag area under Iswardi upazila on Friday morning.
According to RAB, a foreign pistol, a magazine, four rounds of bullets, 10 pieces of yaba were found with Tamal during the arrest. At this time, the private car used by him was also seized.
He is the accused in the case filed in connection with the attack on the students during the agitation started recently demanding quota reform.
Tamal has been in hiding since the fall of the Awami League government on August 5.
