PABNA, Sept 25:- A After long 17 years the Jamma-e-Islami organized a sharing with the journalists at Pabna press club on 25 September at about 12, o’clock.
District Jamaat Secretary Hafez Maulana Iqbal Hussain was present in the presence of District Jamaat Amir Professor Abu Taleb Mondal, Naib Amir Maulana Zahurul Islam, Associate Secretary Maulana Abdul Ghaffar Khan, Media Secretary Abdul Latif, Office Secretary SM Sohail, District Workers Welfare Federation President Rezaul Karim, Amir of Municipal Jamaat Professor Rakib Uddin, Deputy Amir Zakaria Hossain, Secretary Zakir Hossain, Assistant Secretary Ikramul Haque Upazila Jamaat Secretary Ibrahim Khalil Ainul etc.
District Jamaat Ameer Professor Abu Taleb Mondal said, Jamaat-e-Islami wants to build an Islamic welfare-oriented, corruption-free, hunger-free Bangladesh. Already our two leaders have shown the proof of integrity by serving three ministries during the coalition government. Our Amir Jamaat said we will not do politics of revenge like Awami League. Jamaat is fully prepared for the upcoming elections. We want the cooperation of journalists to build Islamic welfare-oriented, corruption-free, hunger-free Bangladesh.
He said, BNP’s alliance with us has been broken long ago. The situation ahead says that there will be a single, non-coalition election. However, Jamaat-e-Islami will participate in the parliamentary elections with 5 parliamentary constituencies in Pabna.
At the end of the meeting, Amir Maulana Zahurul Islam, Naib of District Jamaat, prayed for the welfare of the countrymen and journalists who were killed and injured in the anti-discrimination student movement and journalist leader Ruhul Amin Gazi. Hundreds of journalists working in Pabna were present in the meeting.
