BDrunner, Nov 09:- Pabna University of Science and Technology (PUST) has organized a rally to celebrate World Town Planning Day on Saturday at university campus.
The rally was arranged by the department of Urban and Regional Planning. On this occasion, a colorful procession brings out from the administrative building of the university in the presence of Professor Dr. SM Abdul Awal, Vice Chancellor of PUST at 10 am on Saturday, 9 October 2024.
“Planning of the whole country, building up balanced Bangladesh without discrimination” contains this slogan, the day is observed. Professor Dr. Kamruzzaman Khan, proctor, Dr. Md Rashedul Haque, Student counselling and Instructions office director, Md. Kamrul Hasan, chairman of Urban and Regional planning, all teachers and students of the department, participate the colorific procession.
Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. SM Abdul Awal said, ”We have to adorn our big cities systematically and proper planned way. We have to enhance our citizens facilities. We will priorities the beautification to every city and build up as inhabitable for all the people.”
