BDRunner 05:-Riyad Islam, Ishwardi (Pabna): A Russian female worker has died after jumping from a building in the residential area of ’Green City’ of the Rooppur Nuclear Power Project in Ishwardi, Pabna.
The incident occurred on Friday night at house number 42 of building 9 of Green City in the Diyar Sahapur area of the upazila.
The deceased woman’s name is Poshtaruk Kosenia (40). She was working at the SMU-1 company of the Rooppur project. After the incident, the doctor in charge of Green City came and declared her dead.
Additional Superintendent of Police of Ishwardi Circle Biplob Kumar Goswami, OC of Ishwardi Police Station Shahidul Islam and other members of the Rooppur Police Outpost visited the Green City area in the morning after the incident.
OC of Ishwardi Police Station Shahidul Islam said that there was a family dispute between the deceased Kosenia and her husband. It is initially believed that the incident occurred as a result of this. Her husband has been taken away by security personnel for questioning. The body has been sent to the Pabna General Hospital morgue for autopsy.
