PABNA, April 03: – A young man named Arafat (18) died after being stabbed by an opponent in the Ananta Bazar Colony area of Pabna municipal city.
The deceased Arafat is the son of Omar Ali of Mutepara Mohalla in the Pabna municipal area.
The incident occurred around 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
Pabna Sadar Police Sub-Inspector (SI) Jahangir Hossain admitted the incident and said that the boy named Arafat died after being stabbed by miscreants who were trying to gain control of the area at night.
The police inspected the spot. However, no one has been arrested so far. The family of the deceased is preparing a case.
