August 08:- After the announcement of the possible schedule of the National Assembly elections, the election mood has started in Chandpur. The leaders and activists of BNP and its affiliated organizations have become active.
On Friday afternoon, a procession led by District President Sheikh Farid Ahmed Manik took out from the district BNP office with the slogan of the ‘rice sheaf’ symbol.
The procession passed through the city’s Adalat Para, Chhayabani More, New Truck Road, Notun Bazar, and ended in front of the district BNP office.
At that time, the District BNP President said, “If I get the nomination from the party (BNP) and am elected as a member of parliament with your votes, then I will transform Chandpur into a modern, commercial, and developing city.”
He stated that there are comprehensive plans for developing the city’s infrastructure, modernizing the communication system, eliminating unemployment, and providing assistance to small business people.
Practical steps will be taken to improve the quality of education by carrying out extensive reforms in the education sector. Above all, a zero-tolerance policy will be adopted against corruption.
District BNP Vice President Khalilur Rahman Gazi, DM Shahjahan, Municipal BNP Convener Akhter Hossain Majhi, General Secretary Advocate Md. Harunur Rashid, leaders, and activists of BNP’s organs and associate organizations, including Jubo Dal, Chhatra Dal, and Swechchhasebak Dal, participated in the procession.
