BDRunner Online:- Home Affairs Advisor Lt. Gen. (Retd.) Md. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury said all preparations are being made for free, fair, acceptable, and festive elections.
At a briefing after the Law-and-Order Advisory Council meeting at the Secretariat today, the Home Affairs Advisor also said, “Preparations for the upcoming National Assembly elections are very good. Everything that is needed is being done to hold a fair, impartial, and festive election. For this, the police force is being given necessary training.”
He said, preparations for the elections are ongoing. All forces are continuing their training, which will be completed by January. All measures are being taken for a fair and festive election. Law enforcement forces will wear body-worn cameras during voting. Uninterrupted power supply will be ensured at each center.
He also said that strict orders have been issued to find those involved in the murder of a freedom fighter and his wife in Rangpur.
