BDRunner, Jan 05:- A two-day training workshop on ‘Workshop on ATF Sub-Project Proposal Writing’ is being held for teachers at Pabna University of Science and Technology today, Sunday (January 5). Deputy Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Nazrul Islam was present as the chief guest at the workshop.
The resource persons for the workshop are Professor Dr. Md. Mostafizur Rahman, Director of IQAC of Khulna University, and Professor Dr. Md. Iftekhar Shams, Professor of Forestry and Wood Technology Discipline.
Deputy Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Nazrul Islam said, “The Academic Transformation Fund (ATF), funded by the World Bank and the Government of Bangladesh, is a good funding source. The university will provide all kinds of support in obtaining funding through competition. In every case, we have to be proactive, generate ideas and work in a team manner. He further said that if any teacher wants to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with any local or foreign university, then a positive decision will be taken by the university very soon. ”
The workshop was presided over by the director of the university’s Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), Professor Dr. Md. Shamim Reza. The overall supervision was provided by the additional director of IQAC, Professor Dr. Md. Nur Alam.
