PABNA, May 25: – Keeping in mind the theme of “Pay regular land development tax, preserve your land”, a 3-day land fair has been inaugurated in Pabna like the rest of the country through various programs.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Md. Jahangir Alam announced the inauguration of the fair as the chief guest.
This land fair was inaugurated at 10 a.m. Sunday at the Pabna Sadar Land Office premises, with balloons released and a ribbon cut.
At the beginning of the fair, balloons of different colors were released at the Sadar Land Office premises in the morning. Later, a colorful rally was held there. After the rally, an awareness program was held under the chairmanship of Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Yasmin Monira. Pabna Acting Deputy Commissioner Md. Jahangir Alam spoke as the chief guest at the meeting. Additional Superintendent of Police (DSB) Rezinur Rahman, Pabna Sadar Upazila Executive Officer Naharul Islam, District Islamic Movement, Pabna District Advisor Professor Md. Arif Billah and District Gana Odhikar Parishad President Jahangir Hossain, among others, spoke at the event. District BNP Member Secretary Advocate Masud Khandaker was present at the event.
The speakers said that the land crisis is increasing day by day. There are various complications with the documents. The common people do not understand these complications. As a result, both the customers and the service seekers suffer in land-related services. This fair is organized to increase awareness among everyone on these issues. The speakers also said that in most of cases, disputes and disputes in the country are organized over this land. Therefore, it needs to be resolved properly and properly.
The chief guest said in his speech that the government has been organizing the fair on land? Everyone should understand this. The government wants to explain to all the landowners in the country that they can open a bank account and keep their money.
