Today, Sunday at 9 am, a temperature of 12.6 degrees Celsius was recorded at the Tentulia Meteorological Observatory. At that time, the air’s humidity was 76 percent.
Earlier, the temperature was recorded here yesterday, Saturday, at the same time. That is, the temperature has decreased by 2.1 degrees Celsius over the course of a day.
According to the Meteorological Office, the minimum temperature here during the day has been hovering around 14 degrees Celsius for the past week. The temperature will continue to decrease.
Meanwhile, dense fog is covering the surroundings from dawn to morning. Due to this, fields, ghats, rural towns and city roads are also covered in a white sheet of fog. Vehicles have to move with headlights on. The icy wind is overcoming pedestrians after dusk.
Meteorologist Jitendranath Roy of Tentulia Meteorological Observatory said, “The temperature was recorded at 9 am today at 12.6 degrees Celsius. The temperature may decrease next week. Winter will fully set in in the northern region by the beginning of December.”
